KCS Kashmir Shawl Emporium begins with the story of Khub Chand Sawhney, born in Srinagar, Kashmir. He was taught the art of shawl-making by his father as a child. He spent his childhood in Srinagar and Haripur Hazara, now in Pakistan.

In 1947, when the Pakistanis attacked Srinagar, his family had to vacate and migrate to Delhi. Khub Chand was only 24 years old. Although he had to begin a new journey, he never lost hope in his vision. He applied his knowledge and passion for shawl-making to establish KCS Kashmir Shawl Emporium in 1950 with the assistance of the Indian Government.

We offer hassle free returns! You can return your order within 7 days of receipt. We request you to initiate returns for unused pieces only. Your money will be refunded in the original form of payment, except COD orders which will be returned via bank transfer!

All items to be returned must be unused and in their original condition with all original tags and packaging intact and should not be broken or tampered with.
